Ideally, Taeliana is a world where integrity outweighs attraction—but it is not without its villains. Bigotry still festers in the hearts of those who wish to turn personal hate into public law.
A hero is one who rises to draw the line. They may not be flawless; in fact, their armor is often dented by their own failures. But the heroes of the Chronicles prove that you don't have to be perfect to be brave. Even when forged through the fire of their own mistakes, they find the strength to look tyranny in the eye and say:
“This is wrong. And it ends now.”
